Type X Trading Rules
Understand the rules that apply to your Type X funded account, including drawdown and contract limits.
Updated September 4, 2026
Type X is instant funded, so there is no profit target to pass. You trade a live funded account and must follow these rules to keep the account active.
Rule | Requirement |
Daily loss type | Soft breach |
Maximum drawdown | 4% end of day trailing |
End of day liquidation | Positions closed before market close |
Overnight holding | Not allowed |
Daily Drawdown by Account Size
Account Size | Daily Drawdown |
25K | None |
50K | 2.5% |
100K | 2.5% |
150K | 2.5% |
A soft breach means that if you reach the daily loss limit, trading is locked for the remainder of that day rather than the account failing. You can resume trading the following session.
