How Drawdown Works on GTX

Learn how end of day trailing drawdown applies to GTX during the evaluation and the funded stage.

Updated September 4, 2026

The maximum drawdown uses end of day trailing. The drawdown level trails your end of day account balance as it grows, and stops trailing once it reaches your starting balance.

Evaluation Phase

During the evaluation there is no daily loss limit. Only the maximum drawdown applies.

Overnight Holding and Soft Breach

GTX allows overnight holding, so positions do not need to be closed before the market closes. A soft breach means that if you reach the daily loss limit, trading is locked for the remainder of that day rather than the account failing. You can resume trading the following session.
