Payout Rules for Funded Accounts
Everything you need to know about requesting a payout on Core, Prestige and Instant: when you're eligible, how much you can request, how much you receive, and what happens to your balance afterwards.
Every TX3 Futures funded account pays a 90% profit split. Before each payout, your account has to meet a set of requirements. Once it does, you can request part of your profit, up to a limit set by your account type and size. This article walks through each rule, shows how the numbers are worked out, and answers the questions traders ask most often.
Key terms
Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
Starting balance | The balance your funded account opened with, such as $50,000 on a 50K account. |
Profit | Your current balance minus your starting balance. This is the figure the 50% cap is based on. |
Winning day | A trading day that closes with at least $250 in profit. A day that closes up $249 or less does not count. |
Post-payout balance | Your balance right after your most recent payout has been deducted. |
Consistency rule | A limit on how much of your total profit can come from your single best trading day. |
Profit split | The share of each approved payout that you keep. On all funded accounts it's 90%. |
Payout requirements
To request a payout, your account must meet all four of the requirements below at the time you submit. If any one of them isn't met, the request can't go through.
1. Winning days (Core and Prestige only). You need 3 winning days on Core or 5 winning days on Prestige, earned since your last payout. For your first payout, every winning day since the account was funded counts. Instant accounts have no winning day requirement.
2. Consistency rule. No single trading day's profit can make up more than your account's consistency percentage of your total profit: 40% on Core, 50% on Prestige and 20% on Instant. The Instant rule is strictly enforced.
3. Balance. Your balance must be above your post-payout balance from your last payout. For your first payout, it must be above your starting balance. In other words, you need to be in profit since your last withdrawal.
4. Payout limits. Your request must be at least the minimum payout for your account type and no more than the maximum payout for your account size.
Instant accounts must also reach the profit goal for their account size. See Instant Funded Payouts for the goal on each size.
Requirements by account type
Core | Prestige | Instant | |
|---|---|---|---|
Winning days required | 3 | 5 | None |
Consistency rule | 40% | 50% | 20% (strictly enforced) |
Profit split | 90/10 | 90/10 | 90/10 |

Request cap | 50% of profit | 50% of profit | 50% of profit |
How much you can request
You can request up to 50% of the profit in your account, up to the maximum payout for your account size. Profit is always measured from your starting balance: current balance minus starting balance.
To work out your largest possible request:
Subtract your starting balance from your current balance to get your profit.
Divide your profit by two.
If the result is higher than the maximum payout for your account size, use the maximum payout instead.
If the result is lower than the minimum payout for your account type, you can't request yet.
You don't have to request the full amount. Any request between the minimum payout and your largest possible request is allowed.
Maximum payout per request
The table shows the maximum you can request in a single payout, and how much profit you need in the account to request that full maximum (twice the maximum, because of the 50% cap).
Account size | Core | Prestige | Instant |
|---|---|---|---|
25K | Not offered | Not offered | $1,000 (needs $2,000 profit) |
50K | $2,500 (needs $5,000 profit) | $2,500 (needs $5,000 profit) | $2,000 (needs $4,000 profit) |
100K | $3,500 (needs $7,000 profit) | $3,500 (needs $7,000 profit) | $3,000 (needs $6,000 profit) |
150K | $4,000 (needs $8,000 profit) | $4,000 (needs $8,000 profit) | $4,500 (needs $9,000 profit) |
What you receive and what leaves your balance
The full requested amount is deducted from your balance. You receive 90% of it, and the remaining 10% is TX3's share under the profit split.
Request | Deducted from balance | You receive |
|---|---|---|
$1,000 | $1,000 | $900 |
$2,500 | $2,500 | $2,250 |
$4,000 | $4,000 | $3,600 |
Your new balance after the deduction becomes your post-payout balance. Your next payout requires your balance to climb back above that figure.
How the consistency rule is calculated
Divide your best single day's profit by your total profit. The result must not be higher than your account's consistency percentage.
With $5,000 in total profit, the largest allowed single day on each account type is:
Core (40%) | Prestige (50%) | Instant (20%) | |
|---|---|---|---|
Largest allowed single day | $2,000 | $2,500 | $1,000 |
If your best day is too large a share, you can bring it back within the rule by growing your total profit on other days. For example, on Core with a best day of $2,400 and total profit of $5,000, your best day is 48% of profit. Once your total profit reaches $6,000 without a bigger best day, $2,400 is exactly 40% and you meet the rule.
Examples
Core 150K: two payouts in a row
First payout | Second payout | |
|---|---|---|
Balance | $155,000 | $156,000 |
Profit | $5,000 | $6,000 |
Request (50% of profit) | $2,500 | $3,000 |
You receive (90%) | $2,250 | $2,700 |
Balance after payout | $152,500 | $153,000 |
On the first payout, the trader is $5,000 above the $150,000 starting balance, so 50% is $2,500. That's under the $4,000 maximum, so the full $2,500 can be requested. The balance drops to $152,500, which becomes the post-payout balance.
Before the second payout, the trader needed a balance above $152,500, 3 new winning days and the consistency rule met. At $156,000, profit is still measured from the $150,000 starting balance, so it's $6,000 and the request can be up to $3,000.
Prestige 50K: a request under the maximum
With a balance of $54,000, profit is $4,000. Half of that is $2,000, which is under the $2,500 maximum, so the trader can request $2,000. They receive $1,800, and the balance drops to $52,000. The next request needs the balance above $52,000 and 5 new winning days.
Instant 100K: a request capped at the maximum
With a balance of $108,000, profit is $8,000. Half of that is $4,000, but the maximum payout for this account is $3,000, so the request is limited to $3,000. The trader receives $2,700, and the balance drops to $105,000. The other $5,000 of profit stays in the account for future requests.
